Hello Sharon,
Yes, you can sell everything by yourself there's no law that will prohibit you from doing so. However, hiring professional will help you get more exposure out of the market around your area.

Hello Sharon,
Danny C is correct that in general you can sell your business and property by yourself. Our company has done a study that shows when there are co-operating brokers in a transaction the seller of commercial property sees 9.6% more per square foot in the purchase price on average, see video. Often selling the real estate separate from the business gets you the best and highest for both. There are brokers that specialize in business sales. I would look for a good business broker to start and get a handle on the value of the business. Your CPA may be a good resource for business brokers and valuation. Good luck.

An owner has a right to represent themselves in a sale or purchase. However, you will be expected to perform all the legal requirements or you will be liable. It may be wise to let a licensed realtor assist you with the process. Commissions are negotiable. One benefits of employing an agent. The agent will be required to provide all the documents to properly and legally finalize the sale of your property. The agent will work with the escrow officer to ensure smooth transfer of the property and address and liens found on the property. Also, using agent reduces the risk of you being a victim of fraud. My name is Clarissa Spears, I would be happy to assist you with the sale of your properties.
