This is a good question. Your title company can supply you with information on owners in a particular area, as a part of their service. However, in reviewing the title company information you are not likely to find more than names and addresses of owners. You will have to use one of the search sites to attempt to match up phone numbers. Otherwise for those who do not list their phone numbers, you can sometimes find out from one of the tenants in the commercial property how to contact an owner you are interested in. There are at least two additional steps you can take. Write a letter to the owner asking him or her to call or email you. Or you can drive to their address and knock on the door. Marketing for new contacts in like fishing. Sometimes you have to cast a line in water where the fish are not biting. But it is the good fishing person that keeps on casting his or her line, even though fishing like finding owners is sometimes is a hard process.
Good luck Gina............ Rob Baird, California RE License #544165 (One of the oldest, active licenses in CA) 951 515-5855 Email: rob@capratecommercial.com
