A cross dock warehouse is one that has roll up/dock-high doors on both sides of the building...so that you can off-load one vehicle and on-load with another simultaneously. It is common in with produce and other perishables that need to move from one truck to another quickly.

Cross dock is a new technique in the warehouse operation, where products discharge from inbound truck directly loaded on to outbound truck, even if it need to store is less than 24 hours or less than 1 hour.
