The "commission split" is the "agent or agents" gets paid an amount from the sell price. Sellers agent recives the commission money from sale. Then it is up to the Sellers broker to give what ever percentage, if any at all. To the agents. Sellers broker dont have to give you say half of the amount the recive. They can give less or nothing. But then the Buyers Agent can have a contract with a Buyer. That if buyer agent does not get the amount they want. If there is a contract between buyers. Buyer are to pay the rest of the fee.
