In my experience is hard to star for anybody but the challenges are addictive, rule# 1. Do not waste your time, #2 look in your local area for the top businesses that are the big sharks, look up to their resumes and college affiliations to get to know them, and the ones that have been doing this for ever and own everything while making all the deals>
Rule #3> Know your opposition, #4 get free Internet data, but remember we keep things to our self’s as well, #5 map to find the properties, #6 be creative, #7 advertise in and outside boundaries (is key for me) One advice: it takes capital, persistence, and patience to build a portfolio of clients and properties, that match your portfolio. Look for the good opportunities for your clients by prospecting them to the T. If you know what they are looking for, you will find it. And last> Start by uniting with the old and savvy and gathering from their experience what you will bring for the future, practice innovation and wisdom. Remember, all is about the feeling "will work out".
