Has anyone used an energy broker to reduce your facility's electric costs before? Did you really save money?

Can reducing your energy rates through a different supplier other than your electric company save you that much money? I have a company that is offering tons of savings, fixed price, and full swing pricing. The estimated savings amount was in the near $18,000.00 for my facility. Anyone ever deal with energy brokers?

Used such a firm for a multi-story office building to obtain a new electric service provider for a replacement of an existing electric service provider and negotiated and obtained a good savings over the prior costs of obtaining electricity. There are deals out there that will save you money - you just have to put the effort in and do the research and compare all the points of the deal.

Yes. Most I found were independent consultants. Got lucky, saved us over 31% and found funding, rebates, grants, and tax gifts that paid for a great deal of the installation costs.. Win win for us
