Just my two cents of experience, but I would say the owner & tenants are going to be better served by onsite management. Humor me for a second, but if you considered that your tenants are really your clients or customers, an onsite manager could better serve your clientel. Without the onsite management, it would be similar to a customers being in a store with needs, wants or questions and no staff on hand to easily address their inquiry. If that was common, your store or business would suffer from dissatisfied customers. With larger apartment complexes there are always reasons that an onsite manager would be advantagous. Smaller units would have less reason and budget to justify onsite, and therefore offsite management may be desired.
