It's dangerous to generalize foreign investors as they come from different countries and cultures. For investors may choose to work through an investment intermediary based in the United States or a foreign country. If an institution is involved, make sure to review the investment contract to determine what their arrangement is with the actual investor. A preferred approach is to represent the investor directly to understand the investor's personal objective and to reduce communication lag.
