Yes, depending on where you're located. Go to the city/county zoning/planning office and ask them what they'll allow in the area that you're interested in and they'll let you know the process. Just because it's allowed and can work for you doesn't always mean that it's the smart choice for a location. Additionally, they may have allowed specific uses in an area in the past, however it doesn't mean that they'll continue to allow it now or in the future. Good luck!
