what is the typical brokerage fee percentage paid to a broker selling a hotel in the $5-10m range?

Hotel is suburban, full service with 200 rooms. At peak of market was appraised at $14M. Has the typical percentage changed over the last 18 months given the economic tsunami that has hit the industry? Thanks for your input.

Walter,
It typically varies on the particular property and the seller. Average listing percentages range between 4-7%. Depending on what the owner is willing to do on their end as far as advertising expenses so on and so forth. I figured I would chime in and see if this was any assistance to you.
