what are considered "common" areas in an apt bldg in seattle, and how is landlord calculating maintenance %?

How does a landlord calculate its percentage of common area maintenance in a 33 unit 3 floor apt building in Seattle and what comprises "common area". Is leasing office included in this?

No, leased office space would not be included. CAM / Common Area Maintenance is typically calculated by square feet. Any square footage could be considered Common Area that is not rented square footage.

You probably need to look at the declaration of condominium or comparable document and its amendments, to know what is considered a common area.
