What type of value; market? appraised? What type of land; rural? development? There are ways to get you close; 1) local tax appraiser will have historical data on property(appraised) 2) local appraiser may have some comps(market), 3) local land realtor may have some historical numbers(market) 4) Real Estate center of state university may have some data (in Texas, TAMU Real Estate Center is a good resource for such things)(both appraised and market) 5) local or regional economic development board 6) local agricultural board/Federal farm services programs. These sources should be able to get you in the ballpark. Good luck
