Hello Sharon,
Yes, you can sell everything by yourself there's no law that will prohibit you from doing so. However, hiring professional will help you get more exposure out of the market around your area.

Danny C is correct that in general you can sell your business and property by yourself. Our company has done a study that shows when there are co-operating brokers in a transaction the seller of commercial property sees 9.6% more per square foot in the purchase price on average, see video. Often selling the real estate separate from the business gets you the best and highest for both. There are brokers that specialize in business sales. I would look for a good business broker to start and get a handle on the value of the business. Your CPA may be a good resource for business brokers and valuation. Good luck.
