Who is entitled to the commission when a bank sells property through an estate agent ?

No one gets commisison. Agent is a client and it is against RESPA for a retail lender or retail bank to give commission to licensed agent. If the bank is wholesale lender and the estate agent works for Broker that is approved by that Bank, then the Broker gets commission from the Wholesale(Bank) cut a check to the licensed agent what ever split commission he/she gets per contract with the Broker.

the agent is but agent commission but less when dealing with REOs and FORECLOSURES. Bank cut or disallow in rare cases. Email dmilton335@aol.com with future questions. I am a licensed Real Estate Agent and active Investor
