What should I do when the seller won't agree to legal extension of the DD period for a Phase II ESA?

A "minor" asbestos problem was found and the seller much rather just fix the problem instead of investigating it more.

Keep pushing! The seller should know that this step in the due diligence process requires the most care and the cost of not fully investigating a potential environmental problem could exceed the purchase price of the property.
