What's the common parking ratio for medica office space?

5 per 1000 sf of space is the general rule of thumb. 4 per 1000 for generic office space.

I agree ... 5:1 is common for medical, 4:1 is common for professional office. However, both ratios have been increasing. As the cost of office space has risen, more employers have become creative and crammed more people into cubicles, bull pens, office sharing, split schedules, etc. I recently read an article that New York is looking at ratios of 10:1 for office.
