The standard commission fees for commercial real estate can range between 6% and 10% depending upon the marketing strategy selected by the client. It's important for the commercial seller to interview a couple of agents prior to listing and ask the potential realtor about the marketing plan for the property, what type of business plan and revenue potential does the agent recommend, and include questions about online tool usage as that will be important in marketing your commercial property. Selecting an agent that understands how to develop a business plan will ensure that your commercial property is listed with the right firm.

Hello Harvel,
Even though I am in Indiana, I can answer this question. According to the Federal Trade Commission there are NO standard fees. In fact, Realtors cannot even speak about brokerage fees between each other as it is unlawful. A brokerage may only speak to the fees they charge. Hope that is helpful information.
