BPO - Broker Price Opinion. In some cases, lenders are allowed to utilize a broker price opinion instead of a commercial appraisal. However, a BPO is best used for a commercial proeprty owner who is simply trying to get a well supported opinion of value for their own information or possibly to list a property for sale. The rules regarding BPOs vary from state to state.
