Need solution to "for sale" cars and transient vendors in parking lot.

We have a problem with people leaving cars in our parking lots "for sale". Also have problems with transient vendors selling firewood, etc. The issue here is that we are a "remote" landlord. Our office is in New Orleans, the shopping center in question is in Jackson, MS. We own several of out of state properties.

I think I would start with signs..saying none of the above allowed, or simply phoning the local police department.....start softer..all the way up to "will be towed at owner's expense". Also a more friendly approach would be to ask for a cut of whatever is sold; either way, sounds like you need a "go to guy or gal" in Miss. to oversee these matters.

Good signage stating such activity will be towed at their expense and an agreement with a towing company should do the trick!
