Is the commission to the buying agent set by the seller broker? And when?

It depends on the agreement the the selling broker has with the seller. Those thing are usually negotiated while a listing is being procured. I always ask for more commission for my guys (or for myself if I happen to be the broker) than what is being offered or advertised. Everything is negotiable EVERYTHING!

always negotiable. Usually set at the time the property is listed and established between the seller and the listing broker.
