Once the asset becomes REO or OREO, investor or bank sells it through a real estate brokerage . so you have to find a qualified real estate agent in the area where you are looking for bank owned property. If property is residential 1-4 unit then hire a residential agent. If property is over 4 unit in reidential and or any other investment asset, then strictly hire a commercial real estate agent with good educational background.
