How to find owner information on properties that are no longer in business and not on the market?

The properties that I'm asking about are old jiffy lubes that are no longer doing business. With that said I have a client who is interested in leasing these properties for his own oil/lube business.

you can always send a letter to the owner registered on title or chat with the neighbors!

You can contact the Treasurer's Office of the County where property is located, give them the property address, and ask them the name on the tax card and their address, where the tax bill is going.
You can write them a letter, or may be able to go on directory assistance to locate a phone # to telephone them.

In Arizona if the business owned the land, you can check county tax records for owner name/address. If business was leased i.e. strip mall, often you can contact the management company directly for more information. Jiffy Lube is a franchise and their home office may also be able to give you assistance. Worth a try?
