Are all executed leases public record? If so, how can I find a lease I am interested in seeing?

No, in Washington State only those leases that are recorded with a title company are of public record leases with a small business or where the landlords are mom and pops are generally not recorded and therefore not of public record.

I n Maryland, leases are seldom available to the public. Recording often is just a "Memorandum" that a lease exists. Often, Leases are prohibited from being recorded by the parties to the lease and if recorded are grounds for immediate default .
