Any ideas on the best way to advertise office space directly to the medical professional.

Local/Regional trade magazines work well enough. The best way, however, is to find the dominant medical groups in town, find out which doctors are involved, and call them. These are the ones that will be more likely to expand their business.
Personally, I like to drop in and get a face to face with the office manager. But, that's me. Even if the doctor that I visit isn't looking to expand/relocate, they usually know someone else who is thinking about it.

Generate a mailing list for the doctors in your area, send package to each, followed by at least three other pieces. A phone call to each is well worth it before the first packages go out.
